@Spoiledbrat Then you can skip the second step and only use verification to recover your account if you lose access to your email address. :)

@Gentle153 but one of the verified users just tried to remove the picture off her account and it says she will no longer be verified if she removes it..

@Primnproper You will lose your verification, but you will still be able to recover your account if you lose access to your email account. That's all the first picture offers.

@Primnproper Deleting either photo would indeed disable the matching verification option. After all, a new picture can no longer be compared to the reference when that isn't stored anymore.

You can however delete the second (public) picture and leave the first (private) picture to remain able to recover your account.
