But it literally says no one will see that you are verified

@SW-User There are two steps to this, both optional. Step one allows you to recover your account if you lost your password and access to your email account. Other users will not see that. The second step will show other members that you are verified and allows them to confirm this by comparing a public verification photo with the ones in your albums and posts.
