I'd been using yahoo answers for ages and while it's interesting to get Q&A's from around the world, some folk posed questions and never acknowledged your responses.
Did a search for something similar and came across The Experience Project. Now, to be honest my first thought was.......not sure there's too much of my life i want to re-visit ! But while giving it a go, (you could post questions and answers but couldn't interact like you can here) i found that i'd come back the following day and find a regular collection of like-minded folk. ALL with similar sense of humour to mine !
I struck up some interesting friendships and some of them were going through some tough times.
When it all folded we all went our separate ways with some contacting me via e-mail every so often.
I wandered for a bit. Didn't like Vent. Relatetothat took an age to get going and even then was a bit...sterile. Wound up at answermug which seemed to have about 6 regular question setters and about the same number of responders !
I was about to bin social media altogether when i discovered SimilarWorlds.
