When you block someone, do they get notified?

I blocked these two guys and they both got new accounts and I blocked them again. Do they get notified that I blocked them?

Maybe not, but they can no longer view your profile, good enough as a notice itself. I can’t imagine a notice saying “You’ve been blocked by this person” 😂😂
