We made better use of the space, and it won't take the whole screen on mobiles on every profile sub-page.

@Nuno It was a more pleasant layout before for non-mobile users. Could you, perhaps, make it so that non-mobile users still see the old layout? I'm mostly using a tablet computer to access this site, for example, and the new layout looks fine in portrait view but cluttered and lop-sided in landscape view (my preferred way to use the site).

@Peaches Yes, it does on my Mac too. Regular computers use a landscape screen - I'm thinking that's why. With my tablet I can use the site either way but prefer landscape.

@Peaches Many sites seem to offer a desktop mode and mobile mode to compensate but I suspect that involves quite a bit more work for the people who code the website. I set my tablet to desktop mode (landscape view) as that's my preference. With regular computers, like my Mac, there is no choice - it's always landscape.
