Is there any way to retrieve archived messages, in case we want to take a look at them again?

Right now there doesn't seem to be any way of doing that, that I can see anyway. I've only archived messages from one person so far, but it would be good to know, just in case I decide to archive someone else's messages, and then want to look at them again sometime in the future.

You can retrieve archived messages. Click "Account Settings" and scroll down near the bottom.

@LyricalOne Oh, thank you! I appreciate that. :) I just tried that, and it worked. :) And apparently we can permanently delete messages too, though I don't think I would need to do that.

I've noticed that if you delete someone's messages and they message you again all the past ones are there. I presume only if they didn't delete them too.

@katielass I think you're right. I noticed that too, when someone whose messages I had archived messaged me again. All their previous messages came up too.

@TeresaRudolph71 If you go to account settings and scroll all the way down there are several things you can click on and one of them is archived messages but I've not clicked on it to see what happens. Have you tried that?

@katielass Yes, I did, and it showed me the message thread that I had archived. When I clicked on the message that showed up, I could see the whole thread.
