You see a SW question with 20+ replies. Does answering then become meaningless, or is it just me?

Is there a utility in answering a question with that a great number of replies?

Why is it meaningless? I try to respond to everyone who answers my questions and it often results in some fun threads.

@LyricalOne It seems meaningless to me, since if the poster already has that much questions / replies, then mine would hardly be of any use.

@Boallods That's certainly not true in my case. Don't forget too that 20+ replies could mean three answers with one that just has a bunch of comments. Comments count as replies.

Certainly, though I feel my reply would be redundant, since the poster already has so much talk going on for him/her.
