What do you think about the group and story section of SW?

In my personal opinion, the story section sucks. Most of the stories within a particular group are not stories at all. They are just one or two sentences that describes what the writer is wanting to say at that moment. These "stories" are more like "Facebook Status" rather than a story that allows the reader to understand deeply what the writer is experiencing.

What do you guys think? do you like how the story section works?

I agree. And then you get people like me who write stories of more than three sentences and someone takes time to complain that it's too long so they won't read it because long stories take too long to read. And I'm thinking, it just took you three times as long to write this complaint than it would to read my little story.

I think it's because some people are just getting to used to texting and anything with details is beyond their attention span.

@Serenitree Man, that is ridiculous. Perhaps this is because there are way too many stories that are one-two sentence long. perhaps, if we set a minimum word limit for stories (maybe 25 words), people will be more used to reading longer stories?

@Spinningtime7 I don't know! I know I write them and if they get comments, I respond, if they don't, I forget about them. Once in a while, someone will stumble across something I've written and comment. But I don't write fiction. Mine are anecdotes about things that have happened, or commentaries or opinion pieces.
