Do you believe the world's climate is changing? I do
I am not in denial of climate change. I live in the Midwest 7 miles west of Lake Michigan. The winter's in our part of the country are known to be cold and snowy. The average amount of snow for the winter in our region is about 46 inches,
Last winter we came no where near that amount. The biggest snowfall came in early December 2016, in the amount of about 10 inches.
I remember using the snow shovel that morning after the snowfall. I never again had to shovel that amount of snow. The next snowfall in mid- January was only about 4 inches. For that tiny amount, I just used a janitor broom and brushed the snow off the front porch and sidewalk,
When Febuary came the month we often receive the heaviest snow storms. Near the middle the month we received heavy rain with thunderstorms and lighting. I took videos for future reference of the rain storm events.
The Autumns
The past few years the trees on our property had little or no changing of the leaf colors. I saw tiny amounts of reds, yellows and gold colors. Unlike years ago. By the end of October our tress would with be overfilled with flaming yellow leaves and deep red leaf hues.
And instead of the leaves changing colors and fall off the trees in a normal pattern. The leaves this year stayed green and were literally washed off the trees when we had a heavy rainstorm and moderate winds last week.
Last Febuary 2017 valentine's day weekend. It reached 69 degrees children were outside playing without jackets and sweaters.
There is something wrong with our regions weather pattern on a year round basis. Trees on our property that 20 years ago blossomed in early May now blossom in late June.
Everything seems delayed now.
I keep video and written records of unusual weather patterns now.

Mainstream news doesn't give us the full scope of what's happening. I am waiting to see if our winter will be as mild as last year.
