@MissZoex I have very few people to buy for and when someone really doesn't need anything those are nice to have on hand when you don't want to cook. lol I did get my sister this cool umbrella that closes with the wet part on the inside and there were other features that were cool. I know an umbrella sounds like a cornball gift but this one is special.

@katielass umbrellas are as needed as whisky and football here in Scotland lol

@MissZoex Well yeah you never think of them until it rains Finally someone invented one that closes where the wet part stays inside and you can stick it through a very small space and open it like when you're getting out of your car. Or getting in.

@MissZoex qvc. I saw it a few Saturdays ago when I was watching cause I was beyond bored. The had real cute designs too and also plain ones

@katielass define cute? Ones that a secret cd might get away using in public lol

@MissZoex They had some designs that weren't too loud, if you know what I mean. I don't like loud prints, I'm more subdued. But the operation was so cool I'd be happy with a black or red one. I got m sister a pink and yellow one that was kind of polka dot . She will like that.

@MissZoex Yes, when we were young we'd buy each other clothes but now we like more practical gifts. A few years ago I bought sister and her hubby these things that had a rubber lip, if you will, that you slipped over the toe of your shoes and one over the heel. It had these sharp spikes and the idea was you could walk normal on ice and not fall. You know how that is. well, when she opened them I could tell she thought wth but i knew once we got some ice she'd be glad she had them. It was the next year but se called one day and said hey those things really work, we're so glad we had them.
