Why doesn’t SW let us create our own groups?
It’s like the people who manage this site are implying that every possible experience has already been put in some type of group.

I'm glad they're not for now. There are already duplicates among the ones that exist. Maybe they'll find a way to approve groups and verify spelling before letting them post.
