Do you use the Stop Notifications button after commenting on a post?

I sometimes do this when I receive too many notifications from other posts I have commented on, not because I am not interested in what others have to say, but because too many notifications can become rather chaotic lol.

I don't get the "too many notification" thing. How is that a problem? I want to know who said what when. I just scroll by the ones that don't interest me. It does not drain my energy to click on the little orange square. I use the stop button when someone becomes an idiot
