Is SW a dating website?

I've been on here for some time already but I still don't fully grasp what the purpose of this site is. Personally I treat this site for practicing English (other than Reddit) since I'm an Easterner. Can anyone tell me?

No, it's not a dating site. It is a site that was recreated from a site that closed called experience project. It's a place to write and share experiences and connect with like minded people as well as understand and know what others are experiencing.
You can find love here, but it's main focus is to express yourself and enjoy conversation as well as have fun with people of all types. Hope that helps.

True, it's not a typical style fourm. It's more about finding the experience groups- I think they just call them groups and then post stories and questions. Then you meet people that way and at some point send DMs. You can add any relevant group you want to talk about and share your story others will read it and just get to know you. It takes time here to develop friendships. The best group to start with is I'm new. Post a little about yourself and then it goes from there. I hope you like it here once you get used to it. I've made lifelong friends with so many people over the years. And they're still working on the site. You can always make suggestions to SW via that group and they are happy to listen.
