I'm A New Member To Similar Worlds

What is this place? It feels a little like XuQa used to be. A random social network of anonymity, international, with so much random the actual room for being supportive seems to be squashed down into a corner somewhere, and if you're lucky you will uncover a post where someone is actually writing about something they feel. It's those posts I miss from ExperienceProject. Posts of raw emotion, that someone just sits up, gives up their need to keep everything inside, and just writes. Those are the posts I respond to. Those are the posts that interest me. That's why I came here.

Why is everyone treating it like the new Facebook or something? I just want to share thoughts and feelings and life with some people I've never met. Turn some strangers into the closest friends you can ever ask for. Y'know, like the good ole days of EP. Sure it had its share of issues, but please people post some nice things, some terrible things, some horrendous things, some outrageous things, ... Let's talk about stuff :D

It's been years and years since I set foot in EP but something made me think of it last night and I was pretty shocked to discover that it is no more... In truth I felt a bit devastated that a place which had been very important to me at one point in my life has just disappeared.

I feel like there aren't that many places on the internet anymore where people can be truthful and make meaningful connections, so despite being corrupted by various things (as everything on the internet eventually, inevitably does) sites like Experience Project and help.com (anyone else remember that place?) are special. They've gotten me through the darkest times in my life. I don't know if I'll stick around here, but I'll see what it can offer. I also simply miss writing down my thoughts, so maybe this will encourage some of the ol' introspection.

@Baldnude: Thanks for engaging so positively and genuinely! Many people get very defensive with such comments. I wasn't suggesting that sharing nudes here is in essence wrong. I hope you understand that my response was to your words in that short comment only - that's all I could see to respond to. But your longer, elaborated, words, tell me that you are using the site for exactly what I hoped it would be for. Which is great! I have to wonder if you have also googled nudism forums where discussions might find wider audiences also. But as an addition, I am so glad you are here. Your approach to discussion (emphasis discussion) being so positive and understanding, wise, is inspiring me to continue to come back here and see what's going on. Thank you :)

@sighmeupforthat: Honestly I hope so. All the crap that's here can go over there any day yes please! When this site started up I had high hopes for a replacement EP, but .. Well, I just see 90% BS social media type posts. It makes me :'(
