Similar Worlds was created by developers who were regular members of EP and were passionate about creating something similar once EP shut down. They called it EP 2 because they did want the site to remain very similar to the original. They know how much EP meant to a lot of people. But it is a new site with some of the same features but also some new ones.
The team who created Similar Worlds has nothing to do with the team that created EP.
