how are things shown

In the list of forum members. How are users liste?
Is it by when a user joins the group?

I have no idea to be honest. It seems like inactive users are generally further down the list, so it doesn't seem to be entirely random. But it doesn't seem to be entirely based on activity either.

@NerdyPotato Like you, I had no idea. I just chose a forum at random to investigate: all the members at the top of the list are badged as new to SW.
