Cool, I found the predessor site, EP, when searching for information on traumatic brain injury and anti convulsive medications.

@Subsumedpat I can possibly help in that area, as I was in a severe collision when I was in school, suffered a TBI, multiple injuries...seizure meds as a precautionary measure as had suspected seizure activity. Shoot me a private message if you care to chat

@Kstrong wait they prescribed you anti seizure meds without a seizure disorder diagnosis?? Well I guess if it's not Dilantin it's okay?

Apparently Dilantin is a very hard drug or something. Been on it for 24 years straight for my seizure disorder. And no idea what causes me to have seizures.

@twiigss suspected seizure activity.... They prescribed to cover their A*S. Switched me over to tegretol...Never thinking of potential long term side effects... It was a low dose, but I weaned myself off of the drug, medical records never decisively state whether or not I even had seizure activity

@twiigss my collision was 35 years ago, meds have come along Ng way in that time and they prescribed, I believe to cover their arse

@Kstrong I got it twice once when I was a kid hit by a car (dont play in the street) and again as an adult had a brain injury requiring surgery.
