Is there a forum, section somewhere I can learn how to follow other members, view photos and in general learn how this platform works? Thanks for any replies.
Welcome to Similar Worlds. I don't think there is a tutorial as such but any individual questions you have just ask in a post and I'm sure someone will come along and answer them. x
The answer to your first couple of questions. If you look at someone's profile you can follow them by pressing the body with a plus sign highlighted in the image below and you can also look at people's photos by clicking in their photos, also highlighted in the picture...
If you select "Forums" on the toolbar and find one from the list that appeals to you, selecting that reveals a side window with Forum title, number of its followers and lists of "Associated Groups" and Forum Members.
(The Fora used to be called "Groups", and that name lingers there.)
Clicking on any of the Members' nick-name and thumbnail opens the public part of their Profile and a list of their threads they have started. If the image is the SW trademark 'S' it means no profile photo. An 'X' cross indicates the person has left the site.
The Profile also reveals their photograph albums but note that some do keep their images hidden from general viewing. There is no general photo gallery.
The "Follow" choice button is also on the Profile.
Hi and welcome, its dead easy go to forum and pick a subject click on it, Scroll and read to add a comment just use the box below the post cilck and commet then post. To reply to a comment clck on it and a box will appear write in there. You can join interest groups to,Thats the basics have fun😀
