Tbh, I'm kind of scared for PMs to be implemented. Back in EP, I just felt too burdened with talking to everyone I knew on EP daily. I didn't want to make anyone feel like they werent special enough, especially when I was the only one who they really talked to. I know some probably didn't care, but I just wanted to make everyone feel special.

However, that just kinda burned me out in the end. I left EP for a while to take a mental timeout, but... I didn't make it back in time. I logged backed in 3 minutes before it was closing. I went though my PMs and some just weren't happy with me. It was too late to make anything better, and before I knew it, the site closed.

I just don't want to burn out again. I don't want to make the same mistake I did last time. And I know I'm probably taking all this WAY too seriously, but those were people who I considered to be my friends. It sucks losing friends

@Faerylight I know right? I would always feel like crap too when I just don't want to talk to anyone and ignore them. The regret!!

Thanks, we can only hope so! XD
That was the focal point of EP y o me. The private heart-to-heart conversations made this site all worthwhile. That, and the ability to have conversations, one-on-one, in the stories we posted. To me it was never a popularity contest and I wouldn't take part in popularity contests.

You do not need to reply to everyone every day. Each of us has special friends and others we do not like so much. Speak to the special ones first. Take care of the others when it is their turn.

I totally relate to that

Even mind numbingly boring 'hi's' from randoms I felt obliged to respond to

Hope you reconnect with people here and they never do PMs :-D
