Okay FINE, I’ll try SW in place of EP…

It’s been six years or something since EP just left us all to rot, and I came here a while ago but didn’t really get into it.

Are any of you EP converts? What I really miss was just being able to shout into the void where it wasn’t like anyone had to listen, but like they coooould ?

Anyway, I’m going to finally give this a shot so if you have any suggestions for a guy trying to get into the flow here, please do share :)

This place isn’t like EP but it’s something close. Most of the people I knew on EP aren’t here, and I miss them, but there are still a few here.

There are trolls and people who are mean or rude, but I’ve mostly encountered kind-hearted people who leave kind words as comments. And those apt words have soothed my heart when I needed to hear them.

EP was a great place, but this isn’t bad either if you learn to ignore the madness that sometimes goes around.

Give it a chance, you might like it. At least, SW is better than reddit or other social sites. Here, some people actually listen and care.

@ethereal Hey thanks for taking the time to write such a nice reply :)

One of the things I really liked about EP was just that, for the most part, people were sincere. People would actually talk to you, compared to Reddit where everything is about appealing to majority. Reddit is like talking to someone, then looking over your shoulder to see if everyone watching approves…. I can’t stand it haha

@ReasonablyInsane Yeah, same. I was on Reddit but stopped being there.

Yeah, I joined in 2017 and have been here on and off. I come on over here few months straight and then not so frequently. They’ve changed this site a lot, the groups have been consolidated. I can’t join them anymore and I miss that. I loved joining thousands of experiences on EP. lol. I had stopped being here a while after they stopped the groups, or even posting in a specific group, but I came back because, well, change is a part of life. Even EP closing, and SW changing every once in a while. 😅

You’re welcome, btw. People have been kind and nice to me. I just try and reciprocate. :)

@ethereal that’s what I noticed! On EP you could create your own groups! I used to love burying some random thought or rant deep within the recesses of EP and then when somebody would find it it was like awww hahaha
