I am a New Member at Similar Worlds

Howdy! i figure it's customary to do some sort of introductory post. what's this place all about? how are the folks here? should i stick around? why! i notice there's a dm function seems like if you want to get to know me you should use it! any suggestions on what sorts of things to post? etc etc.
