Hello, everyone! I've just joined.

If anyone is of similar age, gender and disposition to myself, please feel free to say hello. I enjoy cats, tea, books, progressive rock music and undue academic frustrations.

Any book recommendations? I'm looking for new material to read.

@Babydoll7540 Any genre preferences? Because if you're looking for fiction, I'm currently reading Watership Down and it's a great adventure story. So is The Incredible Journey, but that's for a slightly younger audience. It still made me cry, though. Both are about animals.
If you prefer nonfiction, I recently read Russia and the West under Lenin and Stalin by George Kennan, which was a great introduction to the topic if nothing else. I also started Mary's Mosaic by Peter Janney, though I took a break from that because the material is a little hard to swallow. Death and all.
I can recommend more, but those are the most recent ones. Sorry I have only four; have been working a lot. Hope I helped!
