I’ve been here for maybe 3 days and I’m seeing that sharing how you feel is a mistake.

nah. say exactly what you want to say, and don't let anyone push you off of it. if they're clearly there to antagonize and be a dick, use the force(block button) and the asshats go away. everyone else is pretty cool and encouraging.

and contrary to the beliefs of many.. you DON'T have to allow someone to bother or harrass you, and merely take it. block as you see fit.

I know what you mean. You could say literally anything and a few people will put a negative spin on it.

It was my birthday a few months ago and I posted something related to it, and some people got upset that I dared to mention my birthday 😂

You do meet some* nice people though, it just takes a while.
