It is now time to get serious about my presence on EP, the latest unexpected place I have found myself. But that is part of the journey, hey? So it seemed natural to share a bit about how this site was brought to my attention and why it has appeal to me personally.
A newer friend of mine, met online and with whom there is a lot of mutual sharing about the ups and downs of our lives, had started posting here. She invited me to read her posts by way of sharing even more. I was frankly honored as the anonymity of posting here, at least in the case of me reading her words, would be absent. But we were from the outset determined to be very open with one another about a great many personal and intimate aspects of our lives. This forum just enhances what we had already begun to share.
Once here I found tremendous appeal to the categorized groups that are user-driven. To be able to personalize how I share what I share was a compelling touch. The groups added to the incentive to write and share. It is my intention, having amassed a rather large number of groups that spoke to me, to write something for each group I have joined. With the possible exception of those that overlap or duplicate, many a facet of myself will be there for others to discover as I would like for anyone looking over my profile groups to have more than just a vague sense of why I felt any given group reflected who I am and what I would like to share.
