It always amazes me how conservative women use the argument that women shouldn't vote because many choose not to work on oil rigs.
It just is a poor argument to begin with as it makes no sense logically. Women don't usually choose work on oil rigs so we can't vote on issues but that's like saying that I can't dead lift 600 pounds so therefore I can't vote sorry. Two different examples but same logic.
What about the men who also choose to do not hard labor, like they work in an office? It's such a bad argument that I can't help but thinking that anyone who makes this argument is 12 years old.
I see this argument a lot, it's not the first time I've heard it which is why I wanted to address it. It's popular among anti feminists who like to make silly arguments as to why women shouldn't be able to have a say.
