Why do an lot of women think they shouldnt have to provide for themsleves but claim to want to be equal to men?

@InterdimensionalSideEye Equality means that employers stopped being able to tell college-educated women that they were promoting her less-qualified male colleague because ”he has a family to support". And more of us contribute and pay the bills than ever before.

@bijouxbroussard good point, however I was specifically talking within the context of the question ie,- staying at home raising kids and the man working.

@InterdimensionalSideEye That’s a choice now, not an expectation. And it’s a choice to be discussed between a couple before they even think about getting married.

I’d be willing to bet that if the OP consistently encounters women who expect him to pay all the bills, he’s choosing the wrong women. Because the common denominator in those relationships is him.
