In some, they have a disadvantage (turns out, a male-sized frame with a female amount of muscle is actually pretty shit for maneuverability). Personally, I think it should be decided on a case-by-case basis by the leagues themselves rather than the government, since
a) having a physical advantage in a sport isn't typically disqualifying, and
b) not all sports actually give trans people a physical advantage.

Let me ask you this. Should a man be able to hit a woman? and if not, why? if men have no real advantage over women. why is it looked down upon when men defend themselves after being hit by a woman?

@Torsten Babe, I said in the first comment that men [i]do[/i] have a physical advantage over women. My points in this case are that
a) everyone has some physical advantages or disadvantages over each other, the idea that it's unfair to have the bone density of a trans chick but totally fair to be as tall as Shaquille O'Neal is kinda inconsistent
b) [i]some[/i] of those disadvantages decline after HRT -- namely muscle mass -- which makes the situation more complicated than trans people flatly having the advantage in all sports. I'll recognize some nuance there, and say that in some cases, they do have a clear advantage.

This is tangential, but it's sorta ridiculous that men aren't socially allowed to defend themselves against aggressing women. I mean, if some 5'5" scraggly little soyboy walks up to you in public and decks you, you're socially allowed to lay him flat, but apparently it's bad if a woman of the same dimensions and strength does the same? Sorta seems like that's a case of denying women agency rather than some legitimate moral calculation regarding the threat we pose to them.
