I Am a Feminist

Yes I believe that women should be given equal pay for equal work. Yes I believe that our country's refusal to give paid family leave tries to prevent working women from being mothers. Yes I believe that society objectifies women by valuing them based on their appearance instead of what really matters. Yes I believe that young girls are raised being taught that they're not as capable as boys. No I don't believe that things will get better any time soon. If you have a problem with anything I just said then you're just not being honest with yourself.

Don't be ignorant and generalize.
Laci Green has [i]some[/i] good points, but she's also professionally offended and a bit stupid.
Don't assume every feminist is like her. There are worse and there are better feminists than Laci Green. Feminists are individual people with varying beliefs, too. 🙄

To state that women don't get paid as much to do the same job might not be correct.
From job to job, they may be paid close to equally, but women with the same qualifications as men are far less likely to get hired for higher paying jobs and have to settle for lower paying ones.
Because of that they make less than a man with the same qualifications would over time. Just because they're female.
No ones beliefs or opinions are perfect, but you just can't deny that women don't get treated equally to men. Feminity is still seen as a huge weakness.
