Why are they like this? [I Don't Like Liberals Or Feminists]

I used to consider myself liberal, and in a lot of ways I still am pretty liberal, but I legitimately cannot stand liberals. I've never met so many backstabbing, fake, racists in my life. They're by far the most histrionic people I've ever met.
It seems to just be young millennials and gen z who are the worst..I just don't understand why so many of them are like that. How did being a liberal Democrat become so toxic? Or am I just opening my eyes for the first time?

Racism isn't endemic to a particular political party, (At least it didn't used to be so much) I come from a family of "Orange County Republicans" yet my dad was totally progressive in the early 60's hiring black managers for his stores and actively supporting civil rights.

I became a liberal in the late 60's due to personal changes in my own consciousness and observations of social changes needed.
