Why are they like this? [I Don't Like Liberals Or Feminists]

I used to consider myself liberal, and in a lot of ways I still am pretty liberal, but I legitimately cannot stand liberals. I've never met so many backstabbing, fake, racists in my life. They're by far the most histrionic people I've ever met.
It seems to just be young millennials and gen z who are the worst..I just don't understand why so many of them are like that. How did being a liberal Democrat become so toxic? Or am I just opening my eyes for the first time?

But not all dems are libs. Many people who align with dems are more interested in worker's rights, and care about the environment, etc. But sadly, with both the left and the right, it seems as though the fringe extremists have gained power.
I consider myself a moderate independent. On some issues, I find myself in agreement with the left, while on others, I tend to lean right.
