Can we stop with the phrase “brought down by the #MeToo movement?” Abusers and predators and harassers are “brought down” by their own fucking actions. Framing perps as victims and ignoring the survivor-centered vision says more about your inability to acknowledge basic human rights. End of.

not really, if an abuser just abuses someone that is not what brings them down, I don't see this wording as being sympathetic at all just neutral
