Modern feminism follows the intersectional "oppressor vs oppressed" narrative. They don't want equality, there's very little room to improve equality of opportunity in western society and girls/women are outpacing boys/men by almost every metric now. But since they see men as the opressors and women as the oppressed they want to turn the tides on them.

In reality men and women have always worked together and both have had it good and shitty in different ways.

@YukikoAmagi As far as I'm aware, these days they're mostly focusing on stuff like sexual harassment in workspaces and trying to lower male suicide rates.

@YukikoAmagi before you do report it, make sure it actually is sexual harrassment and you're not misinterpreting something. If you bring it up and it keeps happening, report that shit.

I say that because a false accusation of any kind can ruin a man forever. Women have immense power over men precisely because they're women.

They're actively fighting against mens issues. They fought against making men's groups on campuses to talk about men's issues and won. And look at how they look at MRA's. MRA's, for the most part, are just people fighting for men's issues and not against women in any way. Yet feminists smear them constantly.

The majority of people that consider themselves feminists are people who just want equality for all, but the people at the top of the movement are very different. Go to any prominent feminist website and look at how many disgusting anti-men articles they have.

Look into Christina Hoff sommers for a great example of good feminism, and Warren farrel and karen strauss are great examples of MRA's.
