I Am a Feminist

The Human Aspect... First of all, I believes that both feminist & anti-feminist are not anti-humanist.

If you have pain in one leg(females), to make that one more comfortable, you puts more pressure on other leg(males). With the feminist concerned with pain of first leg, while the anti-feminist are concerned with pressure on second(may be right now enjoying good health). To be a sensible person(humanist), we should try to understand pain of both. I have heard cases where a patient had injured their second leg during the recovery time of first.

I hope when the first leg heals completely, the pressure on second leg will be lifted. It's not easy to develop best rules/policies/priorities in one instance, the world has always witnessed change, and human race has been always busy in updating rules/policies/deciding priorities. Humans have always been learning, and until we gets the complete knowledge(decides final version of rules/policies/priorities), i. e. Until first(and second too) leg is healed completely, the first leg(feminist) should try to understand pressure on second. And the second(anti-feminist) should try to understand pain of first.

A person(humanity/world) can't run on any single leg. We need both with a good balance and strength.

There have been faults of not understanding the pain of first. And some are again doing mistake of not understanding the pressure on second. Let's not repeat our mistakes. Why don't we(both) understand each other's problems. When we will understand each other's pain, the recovery will be fast and we will be able to run(towards development of this earth) very soon.

I am not here to discuss which leg is in more pain. Because if we are able conclude that, we again will be likely to repeat our mistake.

I neither belong to feminists, nor anti-feminists, because we are humans/souls(who has no gender) first. Please don't relate me by the gender status of my profile.

I have also posted the same story in the group "I Am Against Feminism"

Feminism doesn't fall on just one leg, though. Feminism is in both legs.

You say anti-feminism like it\'s an actual thing. I think misogyny is the term you\'re looking for. And yes, many people claim to be feminists and are actually misogynists.

How does feminism ignore the pain of any other minority, or even majority? I have a feeling your problem is with the semantics of the word \'feminism\' rather than actual feminism.

True friend, I don\'t have any problem with anyone working for the rights of any group, instead I appreciate it.

You may be right Deen, but that is what many feminist & anti-feminist call themselves and are perceived as. I would definitely like to know your version of definitions for both.

Thanks for taking so much interest in my post. :)

Feminism: notion and movement that women deserve equal rights to men. There are submovements like Third Wave, but feminism itself is just the idea that women and men are equal.

Anti-feminism: against feminism, usually called misogyny.

Great experience. I agree! I wrote a paper at uni on this, basically saying that we need a new ism cos feminism can't work anymore - men suffer under the current system too.

Thank you. :) That's nice to know about your research/paper work. But I think any new ism will not either help us for too long, as with the time; scenarios, priorities and beliefs also keep on changing. We need to develop a approach in ourselves that will stay unbiased from time & scenarios. And I believe spirituality helps in building an insight in humans for humanity and have an unbiased opinion for all. Spirituality is about true love, for god & his creation(including all humans).
