I Am a Feminist
If you want a good view on Feminism, look up Carly Fiorina's speech on feminism. It is a wonderful thing. My favorite statement goes something like this.
"Feminism is the right for women to choose what they want to do with their lives. Whether they want to stay at home and raise 5 kids or become a CEO- or run for president."
Basically, a women who chooses what she wants to do with her future. My fiance is a male feminist. He wants me to do what I want to do. I want to be a mother and get a Judicial Doctorate in Educational Law and work for the State and potentially federal departments of Education. He is completely supportive. Just as I am supportive of his dreams. This is what feminism is. It isn't driving men out, it is choosing for ourselves as women what we want to do with our lives.
