@tonykaye There was one early on who was actually writing 'sexual' pieces on changing a baby's diaper. That has to be the worst thing I have ever seen on any of these 'facebook alternatives'. I joined ep on April 23rd of 2007. Emerald is the longest term member I have ever seen, she actually was part of the site in 06. I wish Emerald had transferred to SW. She was good people.

@puck61 I remember chatting with a lady from the USA in fact we swapped emails chatted every day I jokingly told there a big stake on the euro lottery and if I won I'd share ,bugger me within seconds she had sent me all her bank details

@tonykaye Wow! I have a friend who actually sent a hundred dollars to someone in chad, so they could buy some tools he claimed he needed for the trade he had recently learned. I guess a hundred dollars goes a long ways in some of the poorer African nations. I think this gentleman was from Chad.

@puck61 that old scam I used to be on site called netlog had to deal with those guy and sometimes ladies every day infact I got a perverse pleasure in leading them on

@tonykaye I almost fell for a Russian 'love' scam, but I think, subconsciously, I wanted to because she wrote such beautiful letters and sent such beautiful pictures. I was completely new to the internet in 05. I had absolutely zero knowledge of the whole scene.
