Can someone define this? (see more)

I know I'm pretty ignorant of kids language these days, but I've just heard a new one yesterday while in the parking lot of the store last night. The young guys "shook hands" as it may (at chest level) and one of them said "take you down, bro" then went off into their friendly conversation. Anyone have any idea what that means? Just curious.

He wanted to take that guy away to speak to him privately.

Their grammar is primitive you see.

@SW-User Thank you. When I heard it at first, I thought they were going to fight, until they got into friendly conversation as they were good friends.

Did he say 'take you down', or 'talk you down'?
'Take you down is a threat, indicating a proper and most thorough ass whuppin.
'Talk you down is an expression indicating the need or desire to engage in dialouge of particular imimport, but falling short of a conversation of paramount significance.

@Groofydorkgerdo Sounded like Take, but with their behavior, it may have been talk. I'm not sure now. Thank you.
