Do you defend your religion/nationality/race/political ideology if someone speaks against it?

Regardless of whether they're right or wrong?

Not if I believe they're right. I might softly try to defend it by mentioning (the positives) while still making it very clear that I'm aware of (the negatives), but if they're right, they're right.
Yeah. I just hurl back personal attacks back at them. And when I mean personal I mean no holds barred. Everyone and thing is fair game.

I can explain nicely why they're wrong but tend to leave the matter if it has not changed their mind.
