Do you ever notice how your animals sense when you are distraught or upset they are intuitive?

I am always going to be grateful for my pets and how wonderful they make me feel sometimes. When the day seems to have gone sour or you are feeling somewhat stressed they lift your spirits. I've been trying this week just to put on a smiling face, be happy and not be thinking about all that has gone wrong in my life lately. A soft kiss on the hand, a nudge from a nose, the wag of a tail, the purring of and soft downy coat of my cat as she snuggles up to me in bed. It's all those little things that make me realize without each one of them in my life, I would be totally lost.

John, you are just too cute as always. *wink* Thanks ladies, I love my cats, especially the one that sleeps beside me close to my heart and every now and then taps me on the cheek to say "hello". My dogs are pretty intuitive as well, always knowing and understanding in their quiet and beautiful way how to make one feel a little calmer during those times when you are feeling a bit blue. I appreciate your responses; have a wonderful evening to you all. Cheers

Yes especially a cat I had a while ago. She knew when I was stressed or tired from the moment I walked into the apartment, and she'd run little circles around my legs if I was doing chores until I'd go sit in the recliner and hold her on my lap. I'm sure she was doing it so I'd rest awhile before getting up to do chores.

My day usually starts with Midnight the large male cat using one of my ears as a microphone. Time to add another can to his food bowl. Our petite lady cat waits patiently knowing that she will have her dish filled within a moment or two. Then it is a battle of which will be the first through the back door to explore the mice and squirrels. You just have to feel good when you witness their antics. Purring. Maybe just flipping over with their legs upwards. A tummy rub is in order. We grilled salmon outside today. Midnight was certainly eager to offer a taste test to determine if it would be fit for human consumption or just something to share with his lady friend. Never a dull moment here around our place. Life is good. 😇
