Imagine a world that's identical to ours, but our intuitions about contrived scenarios had no bearing on the truth? Where would that leave you?

I might be seeing this backwards but I don't see that anything has a bearing on the truth. It's immutable. What people may choose to believe as the truth is a very different thing, of course.
