Had a court case over custody due to finding out ex was drunk driving with our daughter...there were several other serious factors too and I did some work on my own, made a list of the kinds of medications she needed and what I had spent in the past year, typed it up and presented it to the lawyer, who presented it the judge and my ex in court...he whined and asked if he had to pay 53% of the over-the-counter medications too...the judge paused for a minute and ruled that he did have to if it made our daughter more comfortable....I wasn't even asking for that to be paid (he did it with his own whining), and my lawyer said the judge remarked that I had used "great creativity"...
