Why do homosexuals sound the same?

Researchers believe it's a way for gay people to either mimic or signal to each other that they're gay. Closeted gay people, for instance, sound a lot less stereotypically gay than an outed one. Furthermore, gay people in other countries don't often sound discernibly different from everyone else unless they've been exposed to the same social cue. It's a learned trait, basically
The same reason all heterosexuals sound the same.

@Gandolf How old are you really? If you're 18-21...and serious...re-read the last line of my first comment.

What will I find then?
Where do I start? Why would I be motivated?

@Gandolf Last time I'll respond. I can pretty much guarantee you that you've spoken to a gay man recently and had no freaking idea. And since there's a good chance you live in some rural town where everyone looks the same and gay people are considered "fags," it doesn't matter. Those good 'ol boys getting off the tractor at the end of the day aren't necessarily going home to their wives.
But do this. Go to a big city were gay people live openly. Go ask some of the muscle boys why they all sound the same. If you asked that of a few of my gay friends they'd have you backed against a wall in a heartbeat.
