should Boy's be allowed to join the girl scouts

@hyg346: In the UK girls can join the Boy Scouts (or as it is now known since the acceptance of females, The Scouts) so why should it not also be the other way around.

Would make much more sense for both organisations to just combine and be The Scouts and accept anyone that wanted to join.

@SimplyTracie: Why would a girl want to join the Boy Scouts? There is currently a case in Canada of this happening I believe.

The whole idea of keeping boys and girls social organisations separate seems a bit archaic to me.

@Quizzical: At our middle school we had formal groups like Ocean Warriors that were coed. Even the YMCA had summer camps that were coed. I have nothing against coed organizations.

Organizations like Scouts and Ventures that are coed are great but boys shouldn't join the GIrl Scouts.
