If there were no light our sense of sight would deem useless

Excluding the thought that without the sun we would die because I never said no sun I said no light. If the sun did not produce light.

But think about that what if we had eyes and just didn't realize what they were for? We would have a sense totally unrealized

then we would have evolved to live just fine in the dark..we wouldn't have eyes.

@Fernie: yes exactly but we would have an unrealized sense and have no idea the capibalities of this sense we would just assume this was all there was to life.
