Never too late. A few years ago, I found anyone I believed I had hurt and apologized to them. It was a very healing experience all around.

@OtuLight: it's one way to clear karma. It wasn't really bad stuff. As one example, I broke up with someone and never gave him the real reason why. So I called him and told him. It wasn't easy, but he really appreciated the insight. And we remain friends to this day.

Is not really a personality trait imho as a matter of case by case. Generally late apology is fine but there is a cut off point as you get sick of just feeling grieved.
