@DixieChick: My sister went through a phase of being mad on the Bee Gees, that was how I first heard that particular song - from one of my sister's Bee Gees albums. The single release of that particular song was a flop in the UK despite being a huge hit in the USA.

@DixieChick: It's not a bad song, DixieChick. The Americans liked it enough to get it to number one in their charts, but not enough British people bought it to even get it into the top 50 here. Very odd, especially since they went on to have big hits on both sides of the Atlantic with far worse songs. Much better were their earlier hits like "Massachusetts", "Words", "New York Mining Disaster 1941" and "First Of May". Those were good songs. :)

@DixieChick: I didn't like it when they started singing in those falsetto voices, that was what put me off. One such hit was "Too Much Heaven", which my sister bought on a single when it came out.

Those voices were just too much. But in all fairness to the Bee Gees, the other side of that single was a pleasant country-style ballad which could have been a hit in its own right. This one is much better than the A-side:

@DixieChick: What, the ones with falsetto voices? Poor old Barry Gibb sounds like he's got his nuts trapped in the door. Lol :)

@DixieChick: What do you like about them, DixieChick? Just curious. :)
