If my ears are burning, it's usually both at the same time.

@Mordimoux: In that case, it might be a situation where someone is talking harshly about you and someone is standing up for you. Hahaha

Or maybe I was outside in the freezing cold and then came back into the warmth and my ears couldn't handle the temperature change.
