Men who still wanna start a family and have kids. Do you consider them to be old-fashioned or less progressive?

It's interesting that they'd all be lumped in together in this hypothetical. They are all individuals who have a billion different reasons for wanting a family, how can we judge them as a group?

@ChasingBrainBros: are you a family man?

I don't know. The idea scares me because I would hate to be a bad father or subject my kids to divorce...but I don't think fear should be a motivator so my wife and I tried for a baby last year and had a miscarriage. I still don't know how I feel about it because obviously I'm devastated for her and because of the loss, but there's a side of me that is relieved that I don't have to find out if I'm a bad father.

As far as other family goes, I've never really been close to any of them.

@ChasingBrainBros: oh. I'm sorry for what happened mate. I have a feeling you would make a really good father. If you are worried about it, it means you care. Poor fathers don't even take the time to worry. I hope you decide to try again once you've both healed.
