Do you think( No Name ) products are not as good as brand name?

Let me focus on food, Today I bought the No Name potato chips/crisps, The generic brand even though I saved a few times, It is highly salty. I know most chips/crisps are salty but it's way more than the normal one. I was never too keen on Generic products especially when it comes to food, but this is gross!
