Did SW freeze for anyone else?

I use google as my browser and SW froze. Still frozen on Google, but I downloaded Firefox and it's working fine on that.

Does anyone here know enough about computer stuff to explain why that might happen? Please?

Yes, for about six minutes. It looked like a network traffic issue as it remained slow for a few minutes after.
