How would you comfort someone who's crying?

if you know the person just offer your shoulder and let him/her outburst there...if is a stranger a friendly question what's the matter and how i can help..

@ili1981: I know. I wouldn't even know what to say. He's just in pain and I think kinda pissed off. :(

@Laurie1638: let him,when he is ready he will speak i guess..i don't know the nature of the problem but usually this works :)

@ili1981: He's had a pretty horrible medical procedure done and the procedure itself didn't go well AT ALL. He's just in pain. :(
